"Babae Kasi"

I wrote something about stupid driving associated with women. Yesterday, I chanced upon an article that explains a probable reason for women being less superior drivers than men . An excerpt:

Babae kasi,” is what they usually say. Well, men really don’t understand women in so many aspects and after doing some research, this writer found out that PMS could be one of the reasons why women can sometimes be excellent drivers and at other times, not.

It is also probably the reason why men seem to be superior when it comes to driving and even in car racing. Why? Because men don’t have to go through what women do, namely, the emotional and physical changes before menstruation. The medical term for these changes is “premenstrual syndrome,” or PMS.

So dapat pala ganito ang reaction, "Ay ang gara mag-drive, babae sigurong malapit nang magkaroon."

Then again, it's still unfair to equate stupid driving to female drivers (kahit pa may PMS reason). Magkaiba lang talaga ng diskarte, I think.

That's a bad article. It just tries to apply physical effects of PMS to driving. Of course you shouldn't drive under medication, but that's not the reason why women are "bad" drivers.

I think it's more important to first determine IF women are indeed bad on the road.
