Having set your mind (and packed your things even) on what you are going to do for a certain time of a given day, you've already somewhat imagined how that day will be like. And if not a bit of that planned events (imagined scenario) happened, you just find yourself going crazy. You ended up disoriented -- not knowing what to do next.
If you have such kind of attitude as above, dealing with last-minute back out moments can simply ruin your day, specially if you were the one asked to somehow organize the event (is it a test of flexibility?). That's probably the reason why I prefer to be alone most of the time - I know what I want to do, when, where, & how (control freak).
