When I saw Shaider's teaser in GMA, I got so excited. I couldn't help but to be a bit nostalgic. Yeah, batang Shaider at Bioman ako (But no, never 'kong pinangarap na maging si Annie). My Sundays weren't complete without watching Bioman and Shaider (actually, mas priority ko ang Bioman. And yes, pinangarap kong maging si Yellow Four - the archer not the photographer at oo, naging crush ko si Kenny-Red One). Thus, a re-run of this show (something you're passionate of during your childhood) is something to look forward to. While there are clips of Shaider (and Bioman - entire episodes in Youtube, pinanood ko ito ulit), it's still different to have an opportunity to watch it again on TV (even share the Shaider experience with your niece or nephew).
All the while I thought it would be a re-run of the Filipino-dubbed Shaider. But no! It's going to be a Filipino Version of it. Yeah, a la Lupin. I don't know what to feel about it. While I think Marky Cielo is good enough to play as Alexis (Shaider), I don't see the need for a local remake. It seems that GMA is into so much remake - e.g. Sine Novela, at ang napipintong tagalog version ng Marimar! Oh well, I just hope they do justice to this show. Else, lagot sila sa mga 80's kids.

Naalala ko tuloy iyong joke about Annie (that she doesn't wear panties). Well, since Shaider days, she had the potential pala to become a porn star. :))
ei musta=) i agree, its something to look forward to. reminiscing childhood memories, break sa playtime pag-shaider, bioman, maskman, ultraman, magmaman na. hehe. Senti ung namatay c yellow 4 ha.=)... sna iretain ung "shigi shigi wa shigi shigi u wa"...hehe. peace, ingats.=)
P.S.: hehe, ung bio-robot nbili ko lng ng 50 Php nung bata pa ko. binasag ko pa alkansya ko para dun... wla na me napapansin ngaun nun. pro astig un.=)
