"Expression of Gratitude” My Pre-Birthday Post

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

So many things had happen in my 21 years of existence. Oh yeah! 21 years of dreaming, learning, and striving. Successes and Failures are countless. There are a lot of people (including friends and enemies) who’ve been of great help in making this existence meaningful. I want to say Thank You to the following…

My dear mother, who has been very supportive of me even during moments of my insanity. My financier. =) I’ve emptied her pocket because of studying at DLSU. BTW, she has promised to support my Graduate Studies. Thanks Mama!

My intellectual challenger – Tatay, he inspires me to prove myself that I’m worth it to study in a prestigious school. He updates me with all General Information I should know (may it be politics or showbiz).

My Mommy, who has been patient with my babyish moments she does things for me that I can do by myself (dakilang tamad kasi ako). Mommy, thanks for waking up early in the morning everyday and for waiting for me if I go home late.

My Sisters, whose presence makes me believe that I’m a responsible child hikhik!

Moi, Hope, G-neh, & Jenix for making me feel that I’m a good person because I have friends that trust me. They never get tired of listening to my stories. They are very much enthusiastic of sharing their experiences with me. The time we’ve spent together will be forever treasure. You are wonderful blessings for me. Thank you for being around all seasons of my life. To the Rest of MC Rizal, you guys made my high school life memorable (esp. Mhel, Feny, Ollie, Deny).

Cleovi, who’s my best buddy in college I just don’t know how I’d survive college without you. Thanks for your patience with all my anxieties in life. To my FEW close friends from LR-21 Fast 2000 (You know who you are), thank you for tolerating my ‘kasungitan’ in class. Your support helped me a lot in making it to PICC last June 2003.

Thank you to my mentors from Meycauayan College and DLSU to whom I owe most of my success. Thanks for sharing your wit and inspiring me to strive and dream. Special Mention: à Oops! Dr. Robles! I thank him for failing me in INTEREL. That occurrence made me understand that not everything is good. But, later things will lead to something sound ß

My Aksyon Demokratiko/Kabataan friends, enemies, and other people who continue to inspire me in molding my self in becoming a responsible Filipino. Thanks to Joy who is my political mentor and friend who never stops in challenging my positions on issues and political decisions. Ex Sen./Sec. Raul Roco, who’s been my inspiration in fulfilling my duties to the country. I’m extending my gratitude to Julie who believed in my abilities and even recommended me to her boss (I’m a bum no more).

Oh I don’t want to forget to say thank you to those guys who liked me but I hated. They’ve proven my assumption of what men really are à Most of them sucks!!! (I apologize to my guy friends).

There are still a lot of things I have to confront. 21 years isn’t enough for me. I have a lot of dreams that need to be fulfilled (to teach, to have a business, to have a house, to have a school). I know life is short that’s why I’m motivated to do my best to become a better being. I just hope there will be another 21 years of existence for me.
Given that life is short, I should take the time of expressing gratitude to everyone.
