Trophy Girlfriend

We set up a surprise birthday party for a close friend's boyfriend in a Videoke Bar somewhere in Tomas Morato. The group was predominantly composed of male friends/acquaintances. On our way home while we were waiting for cabs, I noticed a couple also waiting.

The girl was wearing a sexy outfit (tank-top, mini skirt, tights, and chucks-like shoes with heels). She is really sexy, maybe gorgeous. She has a quite good facial features. Well, not really that "wow". But because of her total appeal, she's really hot. (But honestly, she doesn't look that decent :D Bad ko). Meanwhile, her boyfriend is an ordinary looking guy. Nothing noticeable with his facial features and not even with his appeal. The couple were publicly displaying their affection.

And because the girl is hot, I noticed that most if not all of the guys in our group were really watching over the girl. So after observing them, I focused my attention to the couple. I wanted to see how the girl and her boyfriend will react. I just got irritated.

Napakayabang ng boyfriend nito. He gave us well actually the boys a look like saying "Hah, ang ganda ng girlfriend ko. Inggit kayo."

There's nothing wrong about being proud that you have a good looking girlfriend but you know it's different when you're trying to display your good looking girlfriend to be proud of yourself. A-hole! I couldn't help myself and my friends/acquaintances just laughed at me.

I couldn't help but to give side comments. "Gago, kahit maganda ang girlfriend mo, panget ka pa rin. It doesn't make any difference. Panget ka pa rin. Leche ka. Ang yabang mo. Matisod ka sana."

I understand that it's quite a good feeling when you see other people appreciating your special someone. This case physical since these other people don't know you and your partner personally thus the initial thing they'll observe is the physical appearance. Nakakatuwa naman talaga iyon, that's given. Pero utang na loob, iba iyong iyon talaga ang intensyon mo: magmayabang para sa sarili mo.

Anyone who treats his girlfriend as a display should be tied on a tree and be burned or be buried alive. At utang na loob ulit, para sa mga babae, hindi ka nakikipagrelasyon para i-display lang.

Tamang maasar bago matulog. But seriously, I easily get irritated with such kind of attitude. Ang sarap mang-away. :))
