More than the "just -right"

Here's a pretty interesting article (by A.O. Scott from NY Times) on how parents can explore movie-watching ("explore the grown-up realms") with their kids.

An excerpt:

"The mind of a child is made for learning, and even movies that have no explicit didactic intention can teach a lot. An adult companion is helpful to provide explanations. Which is what may make some parents uncomfortable: not the bad stuff their sons and daughters will see, but the difficult stuff they may find themselves asked to explain."

Apparently, it's essential that parents should be prepared to answer questions properly and provide right explanations.
