Have it your way

Mobile Technology has become more accessible to most people. You can buy mobile phones with quite good features (e.g. 3G, camera) even less than 10k. Laptops as well have become affordable. Back when I was in college, very few of my classmates owned a laptop. But now it there are more college students (and young professionals) who own laptops.

Given this mobile lifestyle most of us have, we need avenues where we can maximize the technology. Interestingly, Burger King takes advantage of this mobile lifestyle by bringing free services like wi-fi access and cellphone charging.

If you happen to be in a mall (and hungry) and you've an errand to finish (and you need access to the internet), BK is now among your options. You can get a meal for a hundred bucks and enjoy an hour or two of free internet access. It may not be as comfy as staying in a coffee shop. But for someone who's on a tight budget, you can always find a quiet enough section in a BK branch (except maybe for the SM North branch).

I hope other fast food chains will set up a similar service. BTW, Greenwich along Emerald in Ortigas offers free wi-fi access, too.

Burger King along Sumulong Hiway is also Wifi ready, Tested it when we last parked and order some meals there using Samsung i600 and I can consider their connection is good compare to dial up and besides that, it's absolutely FREE of charge!

I guess lahat ng Burger King is trying to set-up free wi-fi access. Ayos na strategy.
