Coolness. Her voice, I adore very much. Very beautiful. She has that soothing voice (deep & full) that can make you feel in love with love even if you're not. Meaning, if you listen to her and you're currently in love, you'll even fall in love more. Meanwhile, if you're not in love in anyway, you would want to be in that situation. That's how captivating her voice is. *sigh*
She's out with a new album, The Very Best of Diana Krall. More information about the album here. *updating my playlist now*
How about a back-to-back Diana Krall and Norah Jones concert in the Philippines? Wow. Maybe in my dreams.
Great. I've a new set of songs to listen to at work by Monday. Get your copy now (buy if you've the money or download if you don't). Thanks to torrents.

I discovered Norah Jones because I wasn't able to get tickets for Diana Krall's concert. Ticketworld was out and the last place to get them was Tower Records, which was also sold out. So I bought a new CD instead.
What I'm waiting for is a husband and wife collaboration. It'll be great to see what their styles combined would sound like.
IRRC, you've written about that in your e-group. Anyway, honestly, I'm really not familiar with her husband (and I really had to search). If this is her husband, it's definitely interesting to see their music collaboration.
Produce kaya kayo ng ganitong concert;)
Kidding aside, whatever format and whoever Krall's partnering with (or kahit solo concert) it's something to look forward to. :)
Wow! That was old footage. Elvis Costello has tried out different styles since his punk/new wave days. He's the scratchy voice singing "She" on some movie soundtrack (I forget which). He also had this blues thing going on in the late 90s with his "Rude Boys" band. I think that's the nearest he's come to Krall's music.
Hehe. Really old. Searched through his website pero parang wala akong alam talaga (ignorante). Naaaliw ako sa idea na punk + jazz. Di ko maimagine. But he does blues naman pala so swak lang talaga with Krall's sound.
Try the James Taylor Quartet (no, not that James Taylor) to give you an idea of what a collaboration between them might sound.
Download na. :)
Not this James Taylor but this group.(Bawal ang shushunga-shunga, hehe)
Will download at home :)Thanks
