In 2003, I attended the Contra-Sona in the Senete where Senator Angara delivered his own SONA.
In 2005, I joined the people rallying along Commonwealth avenue -- crying out that Gloria's a bogus, trying to tell the whole world that her SONA wasn't the real state of the country. (My first and last SONA rally ever!)
Looking back, has there really been a SONA that divulged thre real state of the nation?
Isn't it that SONA is the opportunity for the president to flaunt to the people that they're good -- stating all the achivements (or even fabricated achievements) they had?
Was there any SONA that admitted the ills of this society?
It's only us (the people) who can tell what's the real state of our lives vis-a-vis our country.
