In the present field I am involved with (Public Relations), they say that to look good is a must. Account servicing requires every account manager/executive too look good in order to entice their clients to collaborate with them for some projects. Maybe, it's a means nto communicate the idea that looking good somehow project competence.
But, how do you qualify the idea of looking good?
Yeah, it often matter that an accounts handler should possess nice face feature. (Magandang pagmasdan)
Well, for me, too look good is more than just having beuatiful face. To look good is to be able to carry yourself, enough for your clients to think that you're smart and competent enough to provide them the service they need.
Dressing up helps. It means dressing up presentably and no need wearing those sexy outfits to entice (seduce for some) your clients. What for? Are you a pimp to yourself? You're selling the company's services and not your body!

There's nothing wrong in trying to look good. However, if you've got the look and not the skill /expertise, it's useless.
