Convoy

You're not a "god' if you're in a convoy.

I remember during the campaigns in 2004, our lives were always at risk whenever we were in a campaign sortie. As advance parties, we had to be at the place where the candidate is campaigning before he arrives and wait until he arrives (and even assist). However, we normally had to leave ahead to get to the next area before the candidate. We had to run at least 120kph to make sure we get to the place.

There were also some incidents when we were asked to overtake the entire convoy. Our vehicle was an old FX while we were trying to beat the speed of Expedition. But the order givers think (and even those people I was with)it's just fine. They didn't even think that what we were doing is dangerous. Maybe they think it's because we're in a convoy, we own the road. I don't know, but maybe that's the feeling.
