Yesterday I realized some things about handling messengers or even helpers at home. Often, we encounter problems with them in getting our directions correctly. But it is sometimes our fault why they didn't get our instructions properly.
We have to understand that most of them only finished elementary or high school. Well, you shouldn't be expecting much on them and instead help them become better. I don't think treating them and showing them that they are totally inferior can help. It can frighten them a lot. And instead, they might commit more mistakes.
Suggestion #1 Stop acting like a terror teacher.
It doesn't help. It can only make matters worse. Instead of them getting the directions correctly, their minds are wandering. Lalo lang silang natutuliro.
Suggestion #2 Never assume that everything is already clear with them.
Double-check if they really understood your instructions by asking them -- review them.
Suggestion #3 It's probably better to write the instructions.
At least, they have a reference to look into lest they forget something. Also, include options. It'll train them in making good judgments.
