Comedy

When I was a kid, I used to enjoy watching Dolphy and TVJ movies (be it in the cinema or simply at home). Even if I was already growing up, I still enjoyed watching their movies (new and even replays). Apparently, Pinoy comedy movies these days aren't as interesting as those of Dolphy's or TVJ's. I'm actually thinking if such perception is just due to my age or the comedy movies produced today are simply not a par with those old movies.

Is it just me or the movies? I chanced upon the trailer of Vong Navarro's latest movie and I feel like it isn't near to a Dolphy or TVJ movie. I find it baduy and corny (but if you'll look at it, parang pareho rin naman iyong konteksto o approach with a TVJ movie, which is weird). Maybe I was baduy then (and corny) that my taste have matured already. I don't know.
