Unexpected Pregnancies
With contraceptives being readily available in the market (various kinds), how come the number of unexpected pregnancies seems to persistently increase? I mean when you're not ready, why in the world will you risk yourself of getting pregnant or getting someone pregnant?
Abortion
With the concept of abortion (pretty similar with Euthanasia), I really have quite weird perspective. Not about the idea of "women controlling their body" (a feminist view) but more of the effects of unwanted pregnancy to the future of the kid. If someone will continue pregnancy but plans to have her baby adopted, or hate her child forever (let the child lead a miserable life), don't you think having the baby aborted would simply be more just? Which can be more immoral?
Fairness
I don't know but I'm having a hard time understanding pregnant women struggling and finding themselves inside a jammed train or bus. Then they'll look at the people seating as if begging to give the seat to them. "Bakit kasi nagsusumiksik ka?" I'm trying to understand their situation. But honestly, I'm irritated with the idea that they're using their situation over their advantage. When my friend was pregnant, I asked her how she was able to manage commuting. She said, "Kahit naman siksikan, pauupuin ka. So nakakauwi ako ng maaga kasi sumasasakay ako sa siksikan." Then I said, "Nananamantala ka." Nakakainis lang.
Babies on the road
Don't you feel bad seeing babies (a month's old) commuting on a PUJ/BUS/Train?
Someone who believes
There are a lot people really going after attending the healing masses of Fr. Suarez. Ah, how do you react when someone tells you about his/her experience during the healing mass (how they witnessed the "actual healing") without offending them? Some say, "walang mawawala kung maniniwala ka." But it doesn't work on me that way. Honestly, parang mas may mawawala pag-naniwala ka.
I suddenly remember. When I was about 11, I joined some relatives in attending a healing session by a certain nun healer (I forgot the name) at Stella Maris College in Cubao. Tawa ako ng tawa. I was there to have my tonsils problem healed daw. Funny, the nun told me, "You have to have it operated." See, even she agreed that I needed a real doctor.
Wanted: Real Statesmen
What should I expect with the 2010 Elections given the effing situation of politics in the country? I can't imagine being involved in politics the same way I did in '04. Are there still statesmen (alive) in the country?
Remake
GMA is doing a remake of "Kaputol ng Isang Awit." It's one good Filipino Movie starring Sharon Cuneta and Gary V. And I just love the song. "Mula sa iba't ibang landas..." The song is good. Remake na naman?
New Crush
I just realized this morning because of this article that I found a new crush in Takeshi Kaneshiro.
