Mixed Links

Making this Friday a "Mixed Links" Friday...

Lonely? Maybe you can CREATE a friend:
Biological reproduction is not a very efficient way to alleviate one’s loneliness, but you can make up people when you’re motivated to do so,” said Nicholas Epley, Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. “When people lack a sense of connection with other people, they are more likely to see their pets, gadgets or gods as human-like.”
Got the link via Digital Cuttlefish. His entry as a reaction to this article is a must read. Ah, I wish I could write the way he does (reacting to things using poem as medium).

Do you miss writing articles (or whatnots) using a typewriter?

Ah, I want to write a humorous poem like this

What if the father of the girl you're dating subscribes to
this?

So we thought
Rep's adaptation of Hamlet is modern. But it's beyond being modern. It's futuristic. Interesting.

If you're a Korean Novela fanatic (or you're someone like me who's trying to understand what's with Korean Novelas), check out
Dramabeans for recommendations (Side note: She writes pretty well). I really want to find out why Korean Novelas are such a hit to a lot of Pinoys (aside from the face factor). More on this in another post.

Looking for something interesting to do this summer? How about an
acting workshop?

[Maybe more later]
