It's been a good theater-watching year for me. That's one thing that has contributed to a quite interesting and happy year (fulfilling the passion). Here are the shows I've watched for 2007 (with links to either review or general info about the show):
- Pilipinas Circa 1907 (TP)
- Zsa-Zsa Zaturnnah (TP)*
- Virgin Lab Fest Identity and Politics Trilogy (TP)
- Mulan Children's Play (TP)
- Art (Little Boy/Actor's Actors)
- Insiang (TP)*
- Into the Woods (NVC)
- Dogeaters (Atlantis)
- Avenue Q (Atlantis)
* Shows I watched twice.
In red, those I very much liked.
And I think I'd be more active in watching plays (ultimate addict) by next year. There are a lot of plays (both straight-play and musicals) to watch out for. Maybe it's also time for those who are quite hesitant to spend something for theater-watching to at least watch 2 shows next year. As I said before, there's always something good about risking (you'll definitely learn something from every show you watch). Anyway, initial list of upcoming shows by next year (some production companies haven't posted their upcoming shows for next year, maybe they'll have updates by the end of the 1st quarter) below (with info on show dates/ticket purchase and reasons to watch the show):
If you've read the book (and liked it), I think it's just fine to give this play a try. Just to see how the book will work on stage, right? And it has great actors.

- Altar Boyz
- EJ (Evelio Javier and Edgar Jopson)
Nice title -- Initials of two heroes during the Martial Law. It's a rock musical. Music by "The Dawn" lang naman.
- Cinderella
Lea Salonga, period. But then again, ticket prices are just soooooooooooooooo expensive. I can't dispose that much money for just one night , even if it's Lea (even if it'll fall on my birthday week). Geesh.
[To be updated, off to some sleep]
