Remembering RSR

Today is the 2nd death anniversary of Raul S. Roco. I believe the kind of "after life" he is experiencing now is this (something I wrote 2 years ago):
"RSR would always serve as an inspiration among the youth. What he has shared would be our strength in continuing the battle. The farmer may have left the seeds but the seeds he have planted are wild. Therefore, they can grow even without the farmer’s presence. So long us we will continue to live by his dreams and contribution, the seeds will flourish. One day the flowers will bloom and the farm will go greener and colors will blossom."
Alongside the commemoration of his death was the launching of a collection of articles written about him "Live On!" (well, mainly about his death vis-a-vis how he has touched the lives of these people).

Segue lang: Which made me think?

Is death the only form of realization for people to see the worth of "others" in their lives. Are we only affected by other people's experiences if they're gone? It's a bit weird that most of us only appreciate (or show our appreciation) of a person once he's gone. It's worth realizing a person's importance and impact to our lives while he is still alive.

- by someone sleepy and fixated with overlapping thoughts... It's probably because I went to a mass. yada!

Yes, i was there. the book (portfolio) doesn't have any info as to whom you can contact for purchase. You might want to email soniaroco[at]yahoo.com na lang for info. BTW, your write-up for The Bedan is included in the book.
