Weeks ago people were worried of the looming crisis. Power shortage, droughts were the common headlines. It was July then, and yet the rain hadn't come. Government was even constrained to artificially create rain.
After the extreme heat, there goes two storms. People are whining as the rain never stops and the flood continues to rise. But isn't that we need water? Nature's great, it knows the fastest way to cure the problem. Of course, it's a tough cure, though (it's our fault anyway-respect for environment).
Still, we have to be thankful.
(I wrote this while I was stranded. Stayed inside an FX for 7 hours. Then, crossed a bridge under construction like an acrobat. Bad, my phone ran out of battery, wasn't able to take a picture of the place. Conquered my fear of water and heights. Man, it was exciting!)

naisip nga kita nung nakita ko yung sitwasyon sa tullahan bridge sa tv patrol eh.. pitong oras? terible
^ I actually took another route. But no, I still got stranded. Need to get a place in Manila soon.
When you think about it, it's not nature's fault that there is flooding. Nature has a way of restoring balance. What did cause the floods was human intervention. I mean, had the Tullahan River been clean and unclogged, the water would follow its natural course.
