Approximately 66% of the human body consists of water...

...but there is such thing as "water allergy".

This is unthinkable.

I've been suffering from allergy-attacks for more than 3-months already. I've seen a doctor and got medications. Had a 2 weeks of steroidal medication. But nothing happened. I usually have Iterax or Claritin with me to calm the itch and subside the rashes in case of attacks. And I'm actually tired of this routine. I've a high level of pain tolerance that's why I never bothered to go back to the doctor thinking that this thing will soon be gone. It has probably something to do with my asthma.

Yesterday, I was so loaded with work that I forgot to take a bath (kadiri, I was at home anyway). Then I noticed that I didn't feel any itch and didn't see any rash. Suddenly, I thought, "Am I allergic to water?" I grew up using "deep-well water" for taking a bath. Just recently, the masters at home decided to shift to MWSS. Perhaps, it's the chlorinated water.

To test my hypothesis, I took a bath using "deep-well" water. In no less than 10 minutes, rashes developed and I started scratching again. Okay, so now I'm very anxious. Am I allergic to water or it has something to do with the water's temperature?

I'd rather have a phobia to water than be allergic and suffer for the rest of my life.

And to make me feel more anxious:

"Water allergy, or 'Aquagenous urticaria', is such a rare condition that there are less than thirty patients in the whole world that have been diagnosed with it."
