I rarely write stuff on showbiz personalities but I can't help to write something about Roxanne Guinoo.
Back SCQ days in late 2003, I already got interested in Roxanne. She seemed to be too nice to be in showbiz. Having Wa super strict family and a somehow conservative personality made me think that she couldn't make it in the industry. Among her lady batchmates, she's the least I'd expect to go daring.
But no, I was totally shocked when I watched a news feature on White Castle Whisky's newest image model. Gosh, I couldn't believe it was Roxanne -- yeah, in that red bikini. Amidst the strict parents and a conservative personality, Roxanne is now into sexy stuff.
It was a good tactic considering that most of young stars these days would do anything to maintain publicity and to last in the industry. Like for example, Sandara Park, who's very skinny and "krung-krung", was already featured in a men's magazine. [Honestly, I'm not sure how guys reacted to her pictures -- was she attractive or simply funny?]
Probably, that's the game showbiz personalities should play to extend their turf in the industry.
Then again, it's hard to imagine someone with a family background and personality like Roxanne's to go daring. She looks too innocent, sweet, and nice to show off skin.
Ah, maybe it's just the "manang" in me ranting.

Yun lang yun eh. If you have no real talent and you want to be popular, being cute can only take you so far.
Re: Sandara, kita yung ribs niya sa shoot eh. Turn off. No one wants flab but we don't want our cover girls malnourished either.
Yeah, she's just another pretty face with not much talent to show. Sayang lang iyong "mabining" mukha.
Question, if Photoshop can magic the flab, can it also remedy a thin body to make it somehow voluptuous. Para hindi mukhang hitang sinuotan ng bikini di ba? :))
