Out of Stock

Do you want to increase your sales (and even go out of stock)? Get Judy Ann Santos as an endorser.

FITRUM has been around for quite sometime before Judy Ann became its endorser. There have been several product plugs in Magandang Umaga Pilipinas. But apparently, it was Judy Ann's endorsement (the new advertisement) that made the brand clicked.

To this date, a lot of drugstores have run out of FITRUM stock. Whenever you ask for FITRUM at Watson's or even at Mercury, "ay out of stock po."

Three things:

1. Is Fitrum really effective?

2. Do people believe that Judy Ann lost weight because of Fitrum (Successful Advertising)?

3. Is there just a limited production of Fitrum that the pharmaceutical company didn't expect of the increase in demand?

EFFECTIVENESS

Given that Fitrum has green tea and L-carnetine, metabolism is increased. You'll observe that you're able to develop a regular daily bowel movement. As with my case however, bowel movement happens more than once a day (but the feces looks normal - color and form). As to the question if it really helps losing weight, two months of using and observation won't be enough to assess its effectiveness. Yet, any kind of dieting pills or diet supplement can never be effective without proper diet and regular exercise (success of liposuction even requires diet and exercise discipline).

SUCCESSFUL ADVERTISING

We must admit that anyone who's seen Judy Ann's advertisement (the latest one) would be enticed to take Fitrum (for losing weight and not actually becoming sexy - payat langsi Juday). We've all seen the relatively big Judy Ann - with the big face and somewhat chubby body - transformed into being skinny with relatively small face now. And there's really something about Juday that could entice consumers - mass appeal to middle class and even higher class appeal because of Papa Ryan.

The “holiday ad” with GMA network (short film) probably helped in increasing the sales for Fitrum.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND

I'm quite unsure of the answer to my third question. Nevertheless, if you're convinced that your product is effective and you've decided to hire an endorser like Judy Ann, you must be prepared to have more than enough supply of your product. While there's a great demand for your product and you're not able to confront this demand, competitors might take advantage of this opportunity.

Consumer: Meron na kayong Fitrum?

Pharmacist: Ay, out of stock pa rin po.

Consumer: Ha, out of stock pa rin? *irritated*

Pharmacist: Opo eh. Kung gusto niyo po i-try niyo itong....

The loyal client might consider other product (that offers the same effect). You can't keep them waiting in vain. The phrase "out of stock" is really irritating.
